Expanding Your Horizons
The international audit division is a versatile team that specializes in providing fully coordinated secondary audit services to multinational corporations. Collaborating closely with BDO Member Firms globally, our international audit team utilizes the controls established at finance service center locations to devise high-quality and efficient global audit strategies. This team offers a fully managed and centralized global audit service to audited entities. Many assignments may require travel, with team members frequently traveling abroad multiple times a year for audit engagements.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:
  • ACCA/ACA/ICAS qualification or equivalent from overseas
  • Proven experience in managing, supervising, and mentoring junior staff to enhance their knowledge and skills
  • Experience in engaging with Management, including handling challenging discussions
  • Familiarity with ISAs, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting standards
  • Understanding of financial products, firm services, and compliance issues, including anti-money laundering
  • Experience in reviewing systems, processes, and control environments to identify risks
  • Expertise in designing audit strategies primarily based on substantive auditing
  • Experience in managing complex projects and teams with multiple milestones and deliverables
  • Experience in reviewing financial statements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant sector experience with BDO audited entities
  • Experience auditing international groups and coordinating cross-border engagements
  • Experience in designing audit strategies that leverage controls and the IT environment of the audited entity
  • Experience conducting Group audits under ISA 600
