Expanding Your Horizons
The international audit division is a versatile team that specializes in providing fully coordinated secondary audit services to multinational corporations. Collaborating closely with BDO Member Firms globally, our international audit team utilizes the controls in place at finance service center locations to devise high-quality and efficient global audit strategies. This team offers a fully managed and centralized global audit service to audited entities, often requiring travel for team members to engage in audits abroad multiple times a year.
Ensuring Your Success
The audits we conduct are built on a foundation of quality. We provide audits that are transparent and reliable, trusted by companies and their stakeholders.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
  • ACCA/ACA/ICAS qualification or an equivalent international certification
  • Proven experience in managing, mentoring, and coaching junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Ability to engage with management effectively, including handling challenging discussions
  • Familiarity with ISAs, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting standards
  • Understanding of financial products, firm services, regulatory compliance, and anti-money laundering practices
  • Experience in reviewing systems, processes, and control environments to identify risks
  • Expertise in designing audit strategies focused primarily on substantive auditing
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects and teams with multiple milestones and deliverables
  • Experience in reviewing financial statements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant sector experience with BDO audited entities
  • Experience in auditing international groups and coordinating cross-border engagements
  • Knowledge in designing audit strategies that incorporate controls and the IT environment of the audited entity
  • Experience conducting Group audits under ISA 600
