The international audit division is a versatile team specializing in delivering fully coordinated secondary audit services to multinational corporations. Collaborating closely with BDO Member Firms globally, our international audit team utilizes the controls established at finance service center locations to create high-quality and efficient global audit strategies. This team offers a comprehensive project-managed and centralized global audit service to audited entities. Many assignments may require travel, with team members frequently journeying abroad for audit engagements.

We seek candidates who possess:
  • ACCA/ACA/ICAS qualification or an equivalent international certification
  • Proven experience in managing, mentoring, and coaching junior staff to enhance their knowledge and skills
  • A track record of effectively challenging management, including handling difficult discussions
  • Familiarity with ISAs, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting standards
  • Understanding of financial products, firm services, and compliance issues, including anti-money laundering regulations
  • Experience in reviewing systems, processes, and control environments to assess the entity and identify risks
  • Skills in designing audit strategies primarily based on substantive auditing techniques
  • Experience in managing complex projects and teams with multiple milestones and deliverables
  • Background in reviewing financial statements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant sector experience aligned with BDO's audited entities
  • Experience in auditing international groups and coordinating cross-border engagements
  • Skills in developing audit strategies that leverage controls and the IT infrastructure of the audited entity
  • Experience conducting Group audits under ISA 600
