Salary: £12.20 per hour + £1,500 Welcome Bonus

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at an SEN Trust in Hertfordshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young adults with severe and profound communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional care and support: Assist with daily activities such as washing, dressing, socialising, learning, and personal care.
  • Assist with therapy sessions: Support children and young adults during hydrotherapy and rebound therapy sessions.
  • Build strong relationships: Communicate effectively with children and young adults to empower them to grow and develop.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment: Maintain a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for children and young adults.
  • Support learning and social skills: Help children and young adults develop their learning and social skills.
Requirements
  • Willingness to learn: Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of children and young adults.
  • Exceptional communication skills: Possess excellent communication skills and patience to build strong relationships.
  • Resilience and positivity: Display a robust and positive nature to support children and young adults.
  • Ability to work on a rota pattern: Be willing to work on a rota pattern, including every other weekend.
