We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Orthopaedic Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre Team at The Harborne Hospital.
The Harborne Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK, is a brand new £100million, purpose built 50 bed, multi-speciality private hospital opening in Birmingham in January 2024. Located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus, the hospital will have the deep clinical infrastructure, equipment and facilities and expert, experienced teams to deliver full clinical pathways across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties at all levels of complexity.
This is an exciting opportunity to build your own service, working closely with our internal management teams and external Orthopaedic suppliers to source the equipment required. As a Lead Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for Theatre Co-ordination across the team and some HR tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualified
- Current HCPC/NMC Registration
- Extensive experience in Orthopaedics
- People Management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Off duty exposure
