Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Patient Access Officer to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Patient Access Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive range of administrative services to support the smooth operation of our hospital, including patient registration, scheduling, and data entry.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals to ensure a positive and efficient experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on our hospital database, ensuring seamless patient flow and efficient communication.
- Coordinate and facilitate patient bookings, appointments, and other administrative tasks as required.
- Respond promptly to patient and third-party queries, providing clear and concise information and support.
- Manage patient waiting areas to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Previous administrative experience in a client-facing role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
- Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and database management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
