Head of Kitchen Operations

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef Manager to join our team at Bartlett Mitchell. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall management of our kitchen operations, ensuring that we deliver high-quality food and exceptional customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative and seasonal menus that meet the needs of our clients and customers.
- Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met, and that our kitchen operations are compliant with relevant regulations.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of chefs and kitchen staff.
- Manage the kitchen budget, including inventory, labor, and overhead costs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients and customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a senior chef or kitchen manager in a contract catering environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues.
- Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds 706 1 and 2, NVQ, or equivalent.
- Food Safety qualification at Level 3, with Health Safety at Level 2.
