Client Relationship Manager

TPF Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency specializing in accountancy, is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to join a prestigious and high-quality firm of chartered accountants. This role is based in a dynamic and expanding practice where you will operate within the accounts team in a general practice capacity.
In this position, you will gain exposure to a diverse range of interesting and complex clients, particularly owner-managed businesses. You will enjoy a significant degree of autonomy, with direct client interactions and the opportunity to lead a small team.
Your responsibilities will be tailored to your experience and aspirations, but typical duties include:
- Managing your own portfolio of clients while reporting to the Directors/Partners.
- Reviewing financial statements for your clients, including the preparation of accounts, consolidations, and draft corporation tax returns.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Assisting clients with management accounts and essential tax planning.
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally with 4 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in an independent or mid-tier firm, particularly with owner-managed business clients.
- Ability to review accounts work in preparation for final review.
- Competence in conducting meetings with clients.
- Strong knowledge of corporation tax and VAT regulations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary is dependent on experience and background, negotiable.

- Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered.
This role is ideal for candidates who are ACA/ACCA qualified or possess equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years in practice. Experience with accounting software such as Iris, Xero, or Quickbooks is advantageous.
