Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Operations Leader to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering cyber system roadmaps to ensure the continuous increase of protection levels and quality.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills and experience in cybersecurity operations. As the Cybersecurity Operations Leader, you will lead and manage multiple teams that protect Aviva's systems, data, colleagues, and customers from cyber-attacks and prevent data loss.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver cyber system roadmaps to ensure the continuous increase of protection levels and quality.
  • Lead and manage multiple teams that protect Aviva's systems, data, colleagues, and customers from cyber-attacks and prevent data loss.
  • Build positive relationships, maintain consistent communication, and report to senior stakeholders to effectively convey the details of thwarted attacks and associated risks.
  • Possess an insatiable curiosity at the underlying causes of cyber-attacks with a high level of analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • A proven track record of leading and managing teams and projects, delivering successful results through teamwork, collaboration, and influence.
  • A strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, principles, and practices, as well as relevant standards and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Strong customer focus, and the ability to understand and empathize with user needs and expectations.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary between £100,000 - £130,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
  • Bonus opportunity - 25% of annual salary (actual amount depends on performance and Aviva's).
