Job Title: Teaching Assistant Trainee

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Trainee to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant Trainee, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to provide a high-quality learning experience for students of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 and small group basis.
  • Assist in the development of students' knowledge and skills in core subjects such as numeracy and literacy.
  • Provide positive reinforcement and praise to students.
  • Work closely with the SENCo, class teacher, and outside agencies to develop knowledge of students' needs.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday (term time) from 8:30am-4pm.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
