Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant school in the NE28 area. This is an excellent opportunity to work with enthusiastic students, helping to provide them with the best learning experience possible.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and support student learning
- Work one-on-one or with small groups of children to provide targeted support and promote academic achievement
- Assist with the planning and preparation of classroom activities, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning culture, fostering a sense of community among students and staff
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe, supportive space for all pupils
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a school setting, with a strong understanding of child development and learning needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality education and support
- A positive and patient attitude, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
