Position Overview

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to oversee our food production operations. We specialize in creating high-quality ready meals, with a daily output of approximately 2,000 meals in a dynamic production environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you will:

  • Supervise a small team of food production personnel, including individuals with diverse abilities.
  • Ensure adherence to high quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage in hands-on leadership, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
  • Motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best performance.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 certificate or an equivalent NVQ.
  • An intermediate food hygiene certification.
  • Experience in large-scale catering operations is preferred.
Working Conditions

We offer excellent employment conditions, including:

  • Holiday pay and a pension scheme.
  • Provision of uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE), with laundering services included.

This position entails a commitment of 37 hours per week, structured as follows:

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM

On-the-job training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
