We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Support Team Supervisor to join our team. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of Educational Mental Health Practitioners, providing consultation, advice, and training to other professionals, and delivering interventions directly to children and young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of Educational Mental Health Practitioners
  • Provide consultation, advice, and training to other professionals
  • Deliver interventions directly to children and young people and their families
  • Identify and manage mental health and safeguarding risks
  • Coordinate appropriate support and ensure up-to-date written care plans are in place
Requirements
  • Extensive experience of working with children and young people and their families offering assessment and support for mental health difficulties
  • Relevant qualification in nursing, social care, psychology or equivalent such as CYPIAPT trained
  • Completion of the Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity Supervision training is desirable for this role
