About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Logistics Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and monitoring all aspects of materials, plant, tools, and fleet vehicles to ensure compliance with H&S regulations and delivering high-quality works.
The role will involve working with teams to improve the management and operation of construction sites, including plant, materials, and site compounds. The post holder will also be responsible for managing and allocating works to NCC drivers to ensure site requirements are met.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent people skills to effectively communicate with all parties associated in scheme delivery
- Detailed knowledge and demonstrated competence in highway construction practices and processes
- Able to ensure the team operates effectively and efficiently to a high quality standard and develop and implement a strong safety culture and work to high health and safety standards
- Detailed knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation in construction and highway construction and logistics associated with highway schemes
- Post holder will ideally have Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) and New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) accreditations
- Able to operate under NCC frameworks
- Post holder will hold a full and current driving license
