This role presents a unique chance to become a vital member of the agency's newly established Sustainability Team.

As a key player reporting to the Head of Sustainability within the Commercial, Finance, Sustainability, and Property Directorate, you will collaborate with both internal and external partners to integrate sustainability principles throughout the agency and its supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as the Sustainable Supply Chain Manager, you will:

  • Assist the Head of Sustainability in achieving the goals and targets outlined in the agency's Sustainability Strategy and Framework.

  • Oversee the collection, monitoring, and reporting of supply chain-related data, ensuring compliance with external and internal reporting requirements, including sustainability frameworks and annual assessments.

  • Formulate and execute initiatives that enable the agency to advance within the Flexible Framework, aligning with the objectives specified in the Sustainable Procurement Strategy.

  • Offer expert sustainability guidance and support during commercial tendering processes.

  • Contribute to the assessment of sustainability criteria in tender submissions and throughout the duration of contracts.

  • Assist in creating informative and promotional materials to enhance understanding and engagement with sustainability initiatives.
