Job Title: Policy and Research Advisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research and Policy Analyst to join our team at the Arundel & Brighton Roman Catholic Diocesan Corporation Ltd. As a Research and Policy Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our organization's mission by conducting research, analyzing data, and developing policy recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis on a wide range of social justice issues, including poverty, inequality, and human rights.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and other organizations.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement policy initiatives that promote social justice and human dignity.
  • Provide written and oral briefings to our leadership team and other stakeholders on key policy issues.
  • Stay up-to-date on contemporary political and social changes, and provide recommendations on how our organization can effectively engage with these issues.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as public policy, social work, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in research and policy analysis, preferably in a non-profit or government setting.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data from a variety of sources.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to our organization's mission and values.
