Lead Carbon Removal Specialist

As a leading carbon removal marketplace, we're committed to scaling the market in a sustainable way. We're seeking a highly skilled Lead Carbon Removal Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the quality and risk of carbon removal projects to improve transparency and trust
  • Develop and refine our carbon removal vetting framework, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in climate science
  • Execute commercial vetting to ensure projects are sustainable and capable of delivering carbon credits
  • Cultivate relationships with carbon removal project suppliers, offering feedback and sharing market insights
Requirements:
  • PhD or MSc Degree in a field relevant to nature-based carbon removal methods
  • Previous experience working in the climate and sustainability field
  • Expertise in nature-based carbon dioxide removal methods, particularly experience working with project developers or verifiers
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
