Key Responsibilities:- Assess the quality and risk of carbon removal projects to improve transparency and trust
- Develop and refine our carbon removal vetting framework, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in climate science
- Execute commercial vetting to ensure projects are sustainable and capable of delivering carbon credits
- Cultivate relationships with carbon removal project suppliers, offering feedback and sharing market insights
- PhD or MSc Degree in a field relevant to nature-based carbon removal methods
- Previous experience working in the climate and sustainability field
- Expertise in nature-based carbon dioxide removal methods, particularly experience working with project developers or verifiers
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Unlimited annual leave
- 3% employer pension contribution when matched by 5% employee contribution
- Hybrid working with remote first policy and option to work from a London office 1-2 days per week
