Position Overview

As a Family Support Project Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of families facing challenges related to mental health, substance use, and socio-economic difficulties.

Salary: £29,500 to £34,490

Available Positions: 2 full-time and 1 part-time

This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a dedicated team focused on supporting families impacted by various adversities. You will engage with families, providing tailored support and facilitating connections with community resources.

  3. Develop strong relationships with families to ensure effective communication and support.
  4. Manage challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a professional qualification in Social Work, Health, Teaching, or a related field, or an accredited counseling qualification at SCQF level 9 or higher. Work Environment

This role is primarily based in an office setting, with the flexibility to work remotely as needed to accommodate family requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, generous annual leave (40 days including public holidays), flexible working arrangements, and a contributory pension scheme.

Additional Information

We have three positions available: one permanent full-time, one fixed-term full-time for 12 months (with potential for extension), and one fixed-term part-time for 18 months. Working hours will be flexible to meet family needs, with core activities scheduled on Thursdays.
