Tripod Partners is seeking a dedicated and passionate Children and Families Social Worker to join our dynamic team. As a social worker, you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children and young people across the region.
You will work closely with families, schools, and partner agencies to provide high-quality support and interventions that help families thrive and ensure the safety and development of children in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage the needs of children and families, ensuring a child-centred approach in all decisions.
- Provide timely, evidence-based interventions to safeguard children and reduce risk.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with families and other agencies.
- Prepare reports for Child Protection Case Conferences, Children's Hearings, and other legal proceedings, as required.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families, focusing on positive outcomes and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work (or equivalent qualification).
- Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or eligible for registration.
- Demonstrated experience in child protection, family support, and multi-agency collaboration.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
