About the Position

Are you dedicated to promoting sustainable practices? We are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity to become a key member of our Estates Team as a Land and Property Consultant. In this role, you will collaborate with your peers to deliver expert guidance and services to various divisions within Northumbrian Water Limited (NWL) and its affiliated companies concerning all land and property matters, including both surface and subsurface assets and related operations.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing and executing property referencing, negotiating access rights, preparing Schedules of Condition, issuing Statutory Notices, managing compensation discussions, and facilitating the acquisition and rights purchase of land.

Additionally, you will support the management of the Non-Operational Estate and Leasehold of the Operational Estate, which encompasses Residential, Agricultural, and Commercial properties within the NWL portfolio.

Experience in executing diverse property and technical transactions and devising innovative solutions to maximize value and outcomes is essential.

A comprehension of the diverse needs of both internal and external customers within a Utilities company is necessary, enabling you to support the delivery of property solutions that meet service requirements. Additionally, familiarity with developing and implementing estate management processes and information systems is required.

A valid UK Driving License is mandatory for this position.

This role has been classified as Safety or Security Critical, and as a prerequisite for a formal job offer, you will need to undergo a drug and alcohol screening, either prior to or within four weeks of your start date.
