Position: IT Project Manager

Location: Nottinghamshire, UK (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable)

Position Summary:

The Europe Africa business unit is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the integration of an additional brand into the primary company structure. This role involves coordinating and guiding external teams engaged in this transformation initiative, which encompasses various components such as network integration, Office365 migration, organizational change management, hosting migration, and service integration.

While remote work is acceptable, an initial strong onsite presence is essential to foster team relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a project/program based on a realistic roadmap with achievable deliverables.
  • Operate independently and report to a governance board regarding strategic decisions.
  • Establish best practices for project execution and oversee design, testing, and post-implementation processes.
  • Engage stakeholders effectively to achieve consensus and deliver solutions.
  • Guide the definition of transformation strategies.
  • Identify critical success factors, requirements, risks, work packages, and deliverables.
  • Produce technical documentation as necessary and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
  • Ensure timely and quality project delivery.
  • Evaluate project risks and quality to guarantee successful outcomes.
  • Maintain transparent project management and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to project leadership.
  • Formulate contingency plans for the migration of essential infrastructure components.
  • Possess strong financial acumen to develop and sustain a business case.
  • Exhibit flexibility in working hours as project demands dictate.
  • Have a solid understanding of IT infrastructures and associated processes, particularly networking.
  • Show self-motivation, resilience, and a driven personality.

Technical Skills Required:

• Project management certifications and relevant experience

• Knowledge of infrastructure systems

• Experience with site migrations

• Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills

• Proficient in English (technical, business, conversational)

Candidate Profile:

• Excellent process-oriented thinking abilities

• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus

• Solid understanding of SAP and related processes

• Pragmatic and solution-focused work ethic

• Ability to work autonomously and in an organized manner

• Over three years of relevant professional experience in a similar capacity
