Position Summary:
The Europe Africa Business Unit is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the integration of an additional brand within the UK into the primary organization of our client. This role involves coordinating and guiding various teams, primarily external, engaged in this transformation initiative. Key components of the project include network integration, Office365 migration, organizational change management, hosting migration/decommissioning, and client renewal and service integration.
Onsite meetings will occur in Hucknall, with potential travel to other sites. Proximity to Nottinghamshire is advantageous due to the presence of key stakeholders in this location.
While remote work is acceptable, initial onsite engagement in Nottingham is essential for team integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a project/program aligned with the roadmap that features achievable deliverables.
- Operate independently and report to a governance board regarding strategic decisions.
- Establish best practice methodologies for the project(s) and oversee implementation, design, testing, and post-launch support.
- Engage all stakeholders effectively to achieve consensus and deliver definitive solutions.
- Guide and coordinate the formulation of transformation strategies.
- Define critical success factors, requirements, risks, work packages, and deliverables.
- Possess the ability to work onsite in the UK and communicate effectively in English.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and a knowledge repository.
- Ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Evaluate project risks and quality to guarantee successful project outcomes.
- Maintain transparency in project management and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to project management and assume responsibility.
- Develop contingency plans for the migration of essential infrastructure components.
- Exhibit strong financial acumen and the ability to build and sustain a business case.
- Display flexibility in working hours as necessitated by project demands.
- Possess a solid understanding of IT infrastructures and associated processes, particularly networking components.
