Clinical Fellow in Retrieval Medicine with London Access

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transfer Doctor to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our Critical Care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transfer of critically unwell patients across hospitals.
Key Responsibilities- Champion the safe and efficient transfer of critically unwell patients across hospitals
- Streamline practices, education, transfer operations, and governance within a single service
- Contribute to the repatriation of patients back to their local Intensive Care units across the country
- Collaborate with other Trusts to consider 50/50 job share opportunities within their Intensive Care Units and ACCESS
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- GMC Registration
- Primary FRCA/MRCP or equivalent
- Completed stage 1 training in anaesthetics/ICM (or equivalent)
- Completed a transfer course and had clinical experience of inter-hospital transfers
- ALS or equivalent
- Full FRCA / FICM
- Experience in cardiothoracic critical care
- APLS/EPLS (instructor status)
- FICE/FUSIC
- ATLS or equivalent (instructor status ideal)
- PHEC/MIMMS/MIMMS
- Diploma in Retrieval and Transfer Medicine
- Diploma in Immediate Medical care
