Queens Park Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Registered Nurse to join our team at our nursing home in Christchurch, Dorset. As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our elderly residents, leading a team of nurses and carers, and promoting a culture of excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and carers to provide high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide education and training to staff on best practices and new developments in elderly care
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with a valid NMC pin
- Proven experience in elderly care, with a focus on dementia care
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Up-to-date knowledge of Care Inspectorate Standards and Regulations
