Senior Nurse Manager

At Marie Curie UK, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Nurse to join our Community-based team in Dorset. As a Senior Nurse, you will play a vital role in managing a team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates, and Healthcare Assistants, while supporting the Clinical Nurse Manager.
This is a Dorset Community-based role across Christchurch, Bournemouth, and Poole, which will see you work from home and out in the community. You will be responsible for delivering hands-on care on a regular basis as part of the clinical team, and with support from the Clinical Nurse Manager, undertake My Plan and Review/CDPF for nurses within the immediate team.
You will facilitate the development of nursing practice through specific projects in line with the place-based objectives, act as a managerial and clinical resource for services within your remit, and co-ordinate patient activity and encourage a wide team approach to the provision of patient care.
Key skills and experience required include being a Registered Healthcare Professional on the NMC register, having experience caring for patients with palliative care needs, and understanding the benefits of working with a patient-centred philosophy of multidisciplinary team working.
