Senior Mechanical Engineer Role

Location: Oxfordshire, UK

Salary: £44-50K plus 10% bonus plus overtime plus benefits plus 25 days holiday

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their global R & D hub in Oxfordshire. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for fault finding and problem solving of equipment, including hands-on repairs, maintenance, and installation work. You will also manage contractors on site, ensuring health and safety, performance management, and inductions are carried out effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault finding and problem solving of equipment
  • Hands-on repairs, maintenance, and installation work
  • Contractor management and project based improvement tasks

Requirements:

  • Academic and working background in mechanical engineering
  • Experience of fault finding on mechanical equipment-hydraulics, vacuum systems, pneumatics
  • Experience of managing contractors on site, particular in regards to health and safety, performance management and inductions
