Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrator to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our commercial business, you will be responsible for drafting, amending, and formatting complex legal documents, as well as completing and submitting Land Registry applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Management
- Draft, amend, and format complex legal documents
- Complete and submit Land Registry applications
- Property Searches
- Undertake property searches via the online portal
- Respond to requests for further information and chase up as appropriate
- Reporting and Correspondence
- Produce and distribute legal reports and contract packs
- Produce correspondence, memoranda, and documentation using audio and copy typing as directed
- Self-directed drafting of correspondence or documentation where appropriate
- Administrative Support
- Use Companies House to obtain basic company information
- Diarise and keep track of key dates
- Maintain filing systems, including updating and amending both paper and electronic filing records, together with archiving records
- Deal with telephone enquiries as and when they arise, referring to the appropriate member of the Legal team or other departments within the Company
- Perform administrative duties, including photocopying, scanning, producing and binding engrossment documents, arranging meetings and co-ordinating diaries, franking post and printing correspondence in all media
Requirements
- Highly organized and detail-oriented individual
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software
