About the Role
- Lead and manage the Human Resources department, ensuring effective HR practices and processes are in place.
- Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives to drive business growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management to drive organisational goals and objectives.
- Oversee Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and Reward, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with Unions to maintain positive relationships and resolve any issues.
- Implement change management and process improvement initiatives to enhance HR operations.
- Manage senior stakeholders and the leadership team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, and report regularly on HR metrics to inform decision-making.
About You
A successful candidate should have:
- Previous experience of working in the public sector, with a strong understanding of HR practices and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to handle pressure and ambiguity.
