We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated social worker to join our Looked After Children Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and developmental needs of children in care, as well as supporting their placement stability, educational achievements, and emotional resilience.

The social worker will work closely with multi-agency partners to achieve the best possible outcomes for these children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive care plans to meet the needs of children in care.
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children and their families, promoting resilience and stability.
  • Monitor and review the progress of children in care, making adjustments to care plans as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Qualified social worker with a strong understanding of child protection and care principles.
