We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with significant and profound disabilities.
Your main duties will include:
- Assessing the needs of children and young people with disabilities and determining the level of specialist intervention required.
- Developing and implementing care plans to ensure the needs of children and young people are met.
- Working closely with health, education, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting children and young people.
- Visiting children and young people at home, school, and in the community to provide direct support and guidance.
- Participating in multi-agency working to ensure the needs of children and young people are being met.
We are looking for a Social Worker who is passionate about supporting children and young people with disabilities. You will have a strong understanding of the needs of children and young people with complex needs and be able to work effectively with them and their families.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Social Work qualification and experience working with children and young people with disabilities.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Relevant experience working in a similar role, ideally with children and young people with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
