Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our esteemed partner Primary School in Hounslow.

About the Role
  • Support educational activities as directed by teaching staff, playing a crucial part in the learning process.
  • Provide individualised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver engaging lessons and foster a nurturing classroom environment.
  • Track student progress, manage challenging behaviour, and provide regular feedback to teaching staff and parents.
  • Assist with lesson delivery, maintain a safe and organised classroom, and support the teacher with small group activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalised support to students with SEN, both individually and in groups.
  • Aid in the creation and execution of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), modifying teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver engaging lessons and promote academic and social growth.
  • Help maintain a safe and organised classroom environment.
Personal Specification
  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or relevant degree.
  • Previous experience as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant is desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow guidance from teaching staff.
  • Dedication to promoting inclusion and equal opportunities for every student.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support are advantageous.
