Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working with students with a range of special education needs in mainstream and Catholic Primary Schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special education needs on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Work with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure student progress and well-being

Requirements:

  • CACHE Level 2 or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with SEN students
  • Knowledge of SEN and its impact on students
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
