This position involves working with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, providing holistic and engaging sessions that meet their needs and advance their educational and social-emotional journey.

We offer our SEND Teachers:

  • Competitive salary: £34,000 - £47,000 per annum.
  • PAYE.
  • Full-time position.
  • Extensive CPD, progression, and upskilling opportunities.
  • Support Team dedicated to ensuring every placement is a success for the young person and the teacher.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging sessions that meet the needs of each young person.
  • Providing feedback on progress and completing lesson reports.

Requirements:

  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS / PGCE / B.Ed / PTLLS / DTLLS / CELTA).
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
  • Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs, specifically SEMH.
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes.
  • Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed).
  • Two professional references.
  • Commitment to promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people, and adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.
