About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and specialized CBT support to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments using a person-centered approach to understand the unique needs of each child.
  • Develop tailored care plans and implement evidence-based interventions to address their mental health concerns and promote their overall well-being.
  • Work closely with other agencies to support the best outcomes for children and young people.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of CBT provision on the service.

Requirements
  • A professional qualification at degree level or equivalent in a relevant field, such as psychology, nursing, social work, or occupational therapy.
  • Professional registration/accreditation with a recognized body, such as the NMC, HCPC, or UKCP.
  • Substantial experience of managing an extensive and complex caseload and working with children/young people presenting with a range of complex mental health presentations.
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency environment.
