We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Finance Project Coordinator to join our team at Randstad Delivery (GBS). As a Trade Finance Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the business lines by providing analysis and support for Trade Finance transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Transaction Analysis: Analyze all transactions across the different entities supported to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures.
- Reporting and Compliance: Ensure full understanding of internal reporting requirements and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks associated with Trade Finance transactions, including KRI reporting, operational error resolution, and compliance screening.
- Process Improvement: Proactively learn and understand the mechanics of Trade Finance, procedures, and system requirements to improve processes and efficiency.
- System Management: Ensure correct use of systems and processing tools to maintain accurate and efficient operations.
- Procedure Development: Develop and maintain workflow and written procedures to ensure adherence to Head Office and Internal Operating procedures.
- Project Support: Support initiatives, strategic planning, and projects related to Trade Finance.
- Trade Finance Knowledge: Deep understanding of all Trade Finance products, including Import and Export LCs, Guarantees, Collections, Discounting, Forfaiting, Confirmations, and Risk Participations.
- Industry Knowledge: Sufficient knowledge of UCP 600, ISP98, URDG 758, URC 522, and other relevant ICC publications.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of Money Laundering procedures and UK Proceeds of Crime Act.
- Sanctions Awareness: Awareness of UK and OFAC sanction policies and experience with Restricted Counterparty Checks.
- Technical Skills: High-level experience with Microsoft Office Manager Products and basic knowledge of SWIFT Alliance (MT202, MT103, all MT4 series, all MT7 series).
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to deliver clear communication to staff at all levels.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Critical Thinking: Critical thinking skills to evaluate options and make informed business decisions.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt to change and unexpected developments, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Reporting and Documentation: Excellent reporting and documentation skills to ensure clear and concise communication.
- Industry Knowledge: Sound knowledge of the Banking industry.
- Numerical and Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical skills, with ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Collaborative Nature: Collaborative nature to contribute to a successful performance.
