Job Title: Drivers Mate

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Drivers Mate to join our team at Cooplands Bakery in Durham. As a Drivers Mate, you will accompany our experienced Delivery Drivers in providing excellent customer service to our retail shops and wholesale customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shadow drivers during stock checks and loading vehicles with Cooplands products
  • Travel along a structured route delivering products to retail destinations
  • Prepare vehicles for the following day
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving license
  • Physically fit with the ability to handle repetitive heavy lifting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Available for early morning starts between 02.00am-03.00am
  • Previous experience as a Drivers Mate or similar customer service role
