Job Title: Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at KPI Education. As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our SEN students, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

About the Role:
  • Work closely with teachers and other education support staff to promote personalised learning and support for all students.
  • Support students with complex needs, including those with physical, sensory, or learning disabilities.
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with the Learning Support Department to provide advanced tuition and support for students with complex difficulties.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment, promoting social, emotional, and academic well-being for all students.
About the School:

Our school is a fully inclusive SEN school located near central Durham, with excellent transport links and main roads directing towards the school. We welcome students with varying needs and provide a rewarding work environment, recognised by the local community for the support we provide to our students.

Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with SEN students is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other education support staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for supporting students with complex needs and promoting their academic and personal growth.
