Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at KPI Education. As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teachers and support staff to provide personalized learning and support for students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work 1:1 and in small group lessons with students aged 3-16 with a range of complex needs
  • Support students with tailored-made tuition in the Learning Support Department
  • Collaborate with teachers and other education support staff to promote personalized learning and support
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with complex difficulties

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Education, Psychology, or related field
  • Previous experience working with students with complex needs (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with students, teachers, and support staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
