Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join a fantastic school in Durham as a Teaching Assistant. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for those looking to make a real difference in students' lives while gaining invaluable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support aligned with students' Educational Healthcare Plans (EHCPs)
  • Build strong, trusting relationships to foster student development
  • Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, teachers, and parents
  • Adhere to safeguarding protocols and manage any challenges that arise
Requirements:
  • Recent University Graduate looking to start a career in education
  • Awareness of SEN and SEMH and their impact on student learning
  • Willingness to apply for an enhanced DBS check (we can assist)
  • Ability to provide two professional references from the last two years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
