About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Learning Disability or Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Specialist Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and professional leadership to nurses and healthcare assistants within your area of responsibility.
  • Support the implementation of policy, protocol, and service development within your area of responsibility.
  • Continuously demonstrate specialist clinical skills in practice and provide support and advice on service development and care delivery.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

Registration with the NMC as a Registered Learning Disability or Mental Health Nurse.An understanding of relevant policy and drivers, such as the Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act.Experience of managing a caseload and leading shifts.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
