About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bank SEN Adult Support Worker to join our team at Orchard Manor. As a Bank Support Worker, you will work with our young adults who have varying degrees of special educational needs and disabilities, promoting their confidence and independence and supporting them to lead a fulfilling life.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional high levels of care during all daily activities such as washing, dressing, socialising, learning, washing/personal care and ensuring care during the night.
  • Ensuring that medical needs are met at all times
  • Assisting with therapy sessions such as hydrotherapy and rebound therapy.
  • Communicating effectively and building strong relationships that will empower the children and young adults are free to grow and develop
  • Ensuring that the environment is safe, supportive and enjoyable

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with individuals with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
