Role Responsibilities:

This is a newly established position within a growing Cybersecurity division. Reporting directly to the Head of Cybersecurity for the global organization, this role is a top priority and requires the right expertise. The objective is to build a specialized team of six by year-end, all dedicated to Cybersecurity and threat mitigation.

As an individual contributor, you will possess comprehensive knowledge of Cybersecurity. While there are no direct reports, this role entails leadership through experience and mentorship, as well as the capacity to influence the Cybersecurity framework across the organization. You will be responsible for delegating and prioritizing tasks for the team while also being hands-on when necessary. You will often lead projects and must be comfortable delving into technical details.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Cybersecurity, with a focus on Cyber threats (7+ years)
  • Broad knowledge across various Cybersecurity domains (Risk Management, Forensics, Firewalls, Vulnerability Assessment, etc.)
  • Experience managing significant Cyber incidents, preferably in a large-scale multinational technology environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, from technical experts to executive leadership
  • Proficiency in designing, implementing, and overseeing complex security solutions to safeguard organizational systems, networks, and applications
  • Leadership in incident response initiatives, including investigation and resolution of security incidents and vulnerabilities, along with actionable remediation recommendations
  • Capability to formulate and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure adherence to industry regulations
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, SOC2, etc., are advantageous
