Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Work and Health Coach to join our team at Black Country Job Support. As a Senior Work and Health Coach, you will play a key role in supporting individuals with complex mental health needs to achieve their goals and improve their overall wellbeing.

Main Duties
  • Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention to clients with complex mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support clients in achieving their goals and improving their mental health.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks and promote client safety.
  • Provide training and supervision to junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.

Person Specification
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in applied psychology or a related field.
  • HCPC registration as an applied psychologist with Chartered Status.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
