Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead our strategic sourcing efforts and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing procurement teams, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business objectives, ensuring the best possible value for our organization.
  • Procurement Team Management: Lead and manage procurement teams to ensure they have the necessary skills, capabilities, and processes to support business unit financial and strategic goals.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions, minimizing risk and maximizing profitability.
  • Cost Savings: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives through supplier cost negotiation, process improvements, and design-to-cost processes.
  • Supplier Performance Management: Manage supplier performance to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
  • Risk and Opportunity Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, as well as capitalize on opportunities to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in strategic procurement and subcontract management, preferably in the aerospace, defense, government, or project-driven manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and manage teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues and negotiate effectively.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial experience, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Qualifications: Preferably holding CIPS, APM, or equivalent qualifications.
