Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at TE Connectivity. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for managing and developing strategies to improve supplier performance and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Performance Management: Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier delivery, quality, and inventory performance.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Collaborate with key suppliers to achieve process control, quality system improvement, delivery performance, and cost reduction.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Work with Operations and Business Support teams to obtain resources that support the Supplier Performance team strategy.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and develop a team of direct reports to assess supplier capabilities and ensure compliance with business procedures.
  • Communication and Reporting: Track and communicate key supplier performance metrics and ensure monthly performance reviews and quarterly business reviews processes are sustained.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Operations or related disciplines.
  • Experience: Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier development, or supply chain fields.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, technical competence to interface with manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, materials, and supply/demand management.
  • Language: Fluent in English; reading, writing, and speaking English language. French or Spanish are a plus.
