About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to lead our procurement team and drive business growth through strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives and drive cost savings.
- Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure effective procurement processes and practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure best value for the business.
- Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics to inform business decisions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, ideally in the aerospace, defence, or government sectors.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and influence a team.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and practices.
