Main Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Support Officer to join our innovative regional team at the South West Neonatal Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and coordination support to deliver region-wide programmes of work.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination, administration, and communication. They will be able to work autonomously, using initiative and prioritizing workload, and have excellent time management and organizational skills.

The successful post holder will be passionate about enhancing the experience of neonatal staff and families using neonatal services. They will be a core part of the ODN team, bringing their administrative and coordination skills together to support delivery of region-wide programmes of work.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the project team, including minute taking, data collection, and analysis.
  • Build relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues and wider network stakeholders to ensure strong communication and mutual understanding.
  • Support the development of a regional neonatal nursing Qualified In Specialty programme that meets new national standards, as well as the varying needs of neonatal services in the region.
  • Organize meetings and larger scale educational events and workshops pertinent to the project/programme.
  • Support the organization with written reports and social media content.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who possesses the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent knowledge.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Experience of supporting projects.
  • Experience of administration practices including minute taking.
  • Experience of information and data collection, analysis, and presentation.
  • Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders from different backgrounds.
  • Experience of facilitating large scale education events and workshops.
  • Knowledge of neonatal services.
  • Knowledge of BadgerNet Neonatal Platform.
  • Knowledge of neonatal education systems.
  • Experience of online education platforms.
  • Experience of successful cross-system working.
