Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and resolution on production equipment
  • Executing scheduled and preventive maintenance on various manufacturing systems (Conveyors, Motors, Gearboxes, Packaging Equipment & Auxiliary Machinery)
  • Installation and repair of electrical equipment, including PLCs, Motor Drives, Inverters, and Heating Circuits
  • Conducting mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs
  • Applying continuous improvement strategies to optimize plant operations and reduce downtime
  • Working closely with the engineering manager to ensure efficient production processes

Candidate Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated electrical expertise in a manufacturing setting (mandatory)
  • Proven skills in hydraulic and pneumatic systems (mandatory)
  • Previous exposure to the packaging sector (preferred)
  • Relevant Mechanical or Electrical Certifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - Preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of diagnostics and troubleshooting for manufacturing equipment
