First Line Service Desk Analyst

Regent College London is seeking a highly skilled and motivated First Line Service Desk Analyst to join our IT team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Install and configure computer systems, workstations, and other IT equipment
- Monitor local infrastructure and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with IT team members to maintain standards and SLAs
- Perform root cause analysis of complex system problems and provide corrective action
- Compile monthly reports for the IT Assistant Manager
- Graduate/undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical skills, including troubleshooting and integration of IT services
- Ability to work decisively under heavy workload and extended work hours
- High willingness to drive transformation and service improvement
- Strong customer/end-user/client service orientation
- Keen attention to detail and capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, and assertiveness
