Job Title: First Line Service Desk Analyst

Regent College London is seeking a highly skilled and motivated First Line Service Desk Analyst to join our IT team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Install and configure computer systems, workstations, and other IT equipment
  • Monitor local infrastructure and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with IT team members to maintain standards and SLAs
  • Perform root cause analysis of complex system problems and provide corrective action
  • Compile monthly reports for the IT Assistant Manager
Requirements:
  • Graduate/undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills, including troubleshooting and integration of IT services
  • Ability to work decisively under heavy workload and extended work hours
  • High willingness to drive transformation and service improvement
  • Strong customer/end-user/client service orientation
  • Keen attention to detail and capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, and assertiveness
